Most lactation related issues can be addressed virtually. All virtual sessions are done via a secure web based telehealth platform. Learn more about virtual visits in FAQ. Session times vary though usually last 45-90 minutes.
Virtual lactation visits are available to families in all 50 states.
IN-HOME LACTATION CONSULTATION
An in-home visit can be beneficial at all stages of lactation. Each consultation is individualized based on the specific lactation situation. Most visits will include a breast exam, infant oral assessment and observation of a breastfeeding with test weight. Sessions will last as long as needed to complete a comprehensive assessment and to develop an infant feeding plan, usually 90-120 minutes.

FIRST MONTH LACTATION ASSISTANCE PACKAGE
Lactation education should be an integral part of your birth planning. Without proper pre-pregnancy preparation, the first days in the hospital after birth can be especially challenging and overwhelming. To set you and your baby up for success, this first month lactation assistance package includes:
-1 pre-delivery virtual session for breastfeeding education and creation of a hospital lactation plan
-1 in-home lactation consultation
-1 virtual lactation consultation
- unlimited post-partum chat and phone support within the first month of birth.
