INFANT AND PEDIATRIC NUTRITION

Virtual infant and pediatric nutrition visits will be allotted 1 hour and will include:
-Analysis of current feeding routine and growth trends
-Guidance on feeding progression to encourage a healthy relationship with food
-Action plan to meet individualized feeding goals as a family unit

Virtual starting solids visit will be allotted 45 minutes

For under 12 months

Reasons for a visit may include:
Formula selection
Formula tolerance
Food allergy prevention or management
Infant growth

For ages 5-7 months

This session will cover:
Signs of readiness
BLW vs purees
Introducing allergens
Choking vs gagging
Timing of meals
Tips for preventing picky eating

Weaning off the bottle
Meeting nutrient needs
